We only schedule an in-person walkthrough for larger, heavily cluttered, or moving/pack-out jobs where we need to see the full scope. Photos keep things fast so you can get your garage on the calendar sooner.

Yes. A 50% deposit reserves your service date, and the balance is due when the job is complete. The deposit holds your spot on the schedule and lets us plan the crew and supplies for your job. Reschedules or cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment may forfeit the deposit.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, and payment is handled securely through our booking system. Your 50% deposit is collected at booking and the remaining balance after the work is done.

Absolutely. Our packages start at $299 for a 1-car Refresh, $599 for a Renew (deeper clean with floor power-wash), and $799 for a Revive (our premium deep clean with junk haul included). Pricing scales with garage size — 2-car and 3-car garages are higher. For an exact number, send photos and we'll quote it. Heavily cluttered or moving/pack-out garages are priced separately by the hour.

We offer three cleaning packages. Refresh is a quick reset: sweep, dust, cobweb removal, wipe-down of surfaces, and light repositioning of items. Renew adds a floor power-wash, deep cleaning and sanitizing of shelves and bins, and stain/grime removal. Revive, our premium tier, includes everything in Renew plus detailed deep cleaning of walls, corners, and hidden spaces, junk and trash haul-away (up to a ½-van load, or a full van on 3-car garages), and before-and-after photos. Every package leaves your garage clean, organized, and usable again.

Our standard packages are cleaning services, so a few things fall outside them: full clutter sorting for moves or downsizing (that's our separate Organization & Cleanout service), storage products like bins and shelving (available as add-ons), and hauling beyond your package's included amount. We also can't remove hazardous materials — things like paint, propane tanks, chemicals, fuel, or car batteries — but we'll set them aside and show you where to dispose of them safely.

Yes. Junk and trash haul-away is available with any package, priced by van load — quarter, half, or full van — and it's included free with our Revive package. We handle bulk items, boxes, and general debris. For safety and legal reasons we can't haul hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, propane, fuel, batteries) or certain oversized items like appliances, but we'll always tell you upfront what we can and can't take.

We can. Durable stackable bins (with free labeling and setup) and shelving installations — both lightweight plastic and heavy-duty metal — are available as add-ons. Just let us know what you're after and we'll include it in your quote. Basic reorganization of your existing items is already part of every cleaning package.

Garages are our specialty — it's what we do best, and it's right there in our name. We focus on garages so we can deliver a faster, more thorough result than a general cleaning company. If you've got an adjacent space like a mudroom or storage area tied to your garage project, just ask and we'll see what we can do.

It's our service for garages that need more than a clean — moves, downsizing, estate clear-outs, or years of accumulated clutter. We sort everything into keep, donate, and dispose, organize what's staying, pack up what's going, and coordinate haul-away. Unlike our fixed-price cleaning packages, this is priced by the crew-hour (in half-day, full-day, and two-day blocks) because every cluttered garage is different — you only pay for the time your space actually needs. We'll do a quick walkthrough first and give you a clear estimate before any work begins.

Revive is our premium cleaning package — a deep clean plus junk haul for a garage you're keeping as-is. Organization & Cleanout is for when the sorting is the real job: you're moving, downsizing, or facing a garage so full it needs hands-on decision-making about what to keep. If you mainly need your garage cleaned, choose a package. If you need help deciding what stays and what goes — especially for a move — that's Organization & Cleanout. Not sure which fits? Most jobs are done in a single visit. A Refresh typically takes about 2 hours, and a Renew or Revive runs around 3 to 3.5 hours depending on garage size and condition. Larger or heavily cluttered garages — especially move-out or organization jobs — can take longer, and we'll give you a clear time estimate with your quote.

We recommend booking as soon as you know you want the work done, since our schedule fills up — especially on weekends and in spring and summer. That said, we often have same-week availability. Once your 50% deposit is in, your date is locked. Reach out and we'll find the soonest slot that works for you.

No problem — life happens. Just give us at least 48 hours' notice and we'll happily move your appointment with no penalty. Reschedules or cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled time may result in forfeiture of your deposit, since that slot was reserved just for you.

You're welcome to be home, but you don't have to be. Many customers prefer to hand off access and come back to a finished garage. We will need a quick walkthrough with you (in person or by phone) at the start to confirm scope and go over anything you want kept, tossed, or handled carefully. We'll also send before-and-after photos when we're done.

Yes. Express Garage Cleaners is fully insured, and our team is vetted and trustworthy — you're letting us into your home, and we take that seriously. You can feel confident having our crew on your property.

Not much — that's the point of hiring us! Just make sure we have access to the garage and clear a path if a vehicle needs to move out. If there are specific items you want kept, donated, or thrown away, jot them down or point them out at the start. Everything else, we've got.

Yes — before-and-after photos come standard with our Revive package and are available on any job by request. Most customers love seeing the transformation, and with your permission we may feature them (faces and addresses always kept private) to show off the work.

We serve two Virginia regions: the Greater Richmond area (including Chesterfield, Midlothian, and Powhatan) and the Greater Fredericksburg area (including Spotsylvania and Stafford). Standard pricing applies within about 20 miles of these areas.
